The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka PGCET 2026 provisional seat matrix for the first round of counselling. Candidates participating in the Karnataka PGCET 2026 admission process can now check the course-wise, college-wise and category-wise availability of seats through the official KEA portal.
According to the latest seat matrix, KEA will conduct admissions for 33,809 seats across postgraduate programmes, including MBA, MCA, M.Tech and M.Arch. Of the total seats, 19,934 seats are available for MBA programmes.
The provisional seat matrix is an important document for candidates as it provides details of seats available across participating institutions before the Round 1 allotment process. Candidates can use the information while reviewing or modifying their college and course preferences.

Karnataka PGCET 2026 Round 1 Counselling Schedule
KEA has also announced the schedule for the first round of Karnataka PGCET counselling. The option-entry process was extended, and candidates were allowed to modify their preferences before the Round 1 provisional allotment.
As per the latest counselling schedule, the Karnataka PGCET 2026 Round 1 provisional seat allotment result will be released on September 19 after 5 PM. The final seat allotment result is scheduled for September 21 after 4 PM.
