The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the UGNEET 2026 Round 2 provisional seat allotment result today, September 11, 2026 MBBS and BDS admissions shortly. Candidates who participated in the second round of Karnataka NEET UG counselling will be able to check their allotment status through the official KEA portal.
The Round 2 option-entry process was conducted for eligible candidates after the first-round allotment. KEA has also added seats and permitted candidates to modify, delete, add or reorder their preferences during the option-entry window.

The authority's notification states that the dates for the provisional result and subsequent Choice-4 process have been announced separately. The Choice-4 option will be available from September 11, 2026 from 3 PM to September 14, 2026 till 5 PM.

Karnataka UGNEET Round 2 2026: Who Will Get the Allotment?
KEA's Round 2 process covers medical and dental courses, including MBBS and BDS seats. The second-round counselling includes candidates who fall under the eligibility categories specified by KEA, including:
- Candidates allotted Choice-2 or Choice-3 in Round 1.
- Candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 1.
- Eligible UGCET candidates who selected Choice-4 and have medical or dental options available.
- Candidates who entered and submitted their MBBS/BDS preferences during the Round 2 option-entry window.
Karnataka UGNEET 2026 Round 2: What is Choice-4?
Choice-4 is the option for candidates who do not wish to continue with the seat allotted to them in the provisional Round 2 result.
After the provisional allotment is published, KEA will open a separate Choice-4 window. The Choice-4 Option will begin from tomorrow September 11, 2026 to September 14, 2026.
Candidates should carefully read the instructions displayed on the KEA portal before selecting Choice-4, as choosing this option can affect their further participation in the counselling process.
Important: Choice-4 is not the same as accepting a seat
Candidates who are satisfied with their allotted seat should follow KEA's instructions for fee payment, seat confirmation and college reporting. Candidates who do not want the allotted seat should not make a Choice-4 decision without first understanding the applicable counselling rules.
