NEET UG Round 2 College Reporting Date 2026: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the schedule for NEET UG 2026 Round 2 counselling. Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 2 will have to report to their respective colleges between September 12 and September 18, 2026, to complete the admission and joining formalities. 

The NEET UG Round 2 seat allotment result 2026 is scheduled to be released on September 11. Candidates who receive an MBBS, BDS or BSc Nursing seat through the MCC counselling process must complete the reporting process within the specified deadline.

NEET UG Round 2 Reporting 2026: What Should Students Do?

Candidates who have been allotted a seat should not wait until the final day to report to the allotted college. They should first check their allotment result and carefully read the instructions issued by MCC and the respective institute.

Students should:

  • Download and check their NEET UG Round 2 seat allotment result.
  • Confirm the allotted college, course and category.
  • Check the reporting schedule issued by the allotted institution.
  • Arrange all required original documents and photocopies.
  • Complete the admission and fee-payment formalities within the deadline.
  • Report physically to the allotted college, wherever required.
  • Obtain confirmation of joining/admission from the institute.
  • Keep copies of all submitted documents, receipts and admission forms.

NEET UG Round 2 Reporting: Important Guidelines

Candidates must complete the joining process within the prescribed dates. Failure to report within the stipulated period can affect the candidate's admission and eligibility for subsequent counselling, depending on the applicable MCC rules. Students should also ensure that the details on their allotment letter and original documents match. 

Any discrepancy should be brought to the notice of the concerned authorities immediately. Candidates should not rely on unofficial social media posts or counselling information circulating online. The MCC website and the allotted college's official communication should be treated as the primary sources for admission instructions.

NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2: 659 New Seats Added

For Round 2, MCC had also released an updated seat matrix featuring 659 new seats across MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing programmes. The additional seats include new vacancies made available for the counselling process. 

Candidates allotted seats based on the updated seat matrix should carefully check their allotment details and follow the reporting instructions of their respective institutes.
