The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) has extended the reporting deadline for candidates allotted seats in the first phase of MDS counselling 2026 under the Competent Authority Quota (CQ). As per the revised schedule, candidates can now report to their allotted colleges and complete the admission formalities by 2 PM on September 28, 2026.
The reporting deadline was earlier scheduled for September 25 at 4 PM. The extension provides additional time to candidates who have secured MDS seats in the first phase of KNRUHS counselling to complete the admission process.

What Happens if Candidates Fail to Report by September 28?
Candidates allotted an MDS seat under the Competent Authority Quota should ensure that they complete reporting and admission formalities within the revised deadline.
The KNRUHS notification states that failure to report to the allotted college and complete the required admission formalities within the prescribed time may result in loss of the allotted seat.
KNRUHS MDS Seat Allotment 2026: First Phase
KNRUHS released the college-wise allotment list for the first phase of MDS counselling under the Competent Authority Quota on September 22, 2026. The university had earlier published the final merit list, seat matrix and notification for exercising web options for the first phase.
The first-phase counselling is being conducted for admissions to postgraduate dental courses for the 2026-27 academic year.
