Maharashtra AYUSH Admissions 2026: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the first seat allotment list for AYUSH admissions 2026-27. The allotment covers undergraduate courses including Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), and Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS).
According to the first allotment data, 10,519 students have been offered seats against 11,272 available seats across 166 AYUSH medical colleges in Maharashtra. As many as 753 seats remain vacant after the first round and will be considered in the subsequent round of the centralised admission process.
Candidates who have been allotted seats in the first round must complete the admission process by reporting to their respective colleges within the specified deadline. The reporting window is from September 28 to October 1, 2026, up to 5:30 PM.

Maharashtra BAMS Admission 2026: 7,546 Seats Allotted
A total of 7,546 candidates have been allotted BAMS seats against 7,689 available seats across 113 colleges in Maharashtra.
Of the total BAMS allotments, 1,157 students have secured seats across 16 government colleges, while 6,389 candidates have been allotted seats across 97 private colleges. After the first round, 143 BAMS seats remain vacant.

Maharashtra BHMS Admission 2026: 606 Seats Vacant
For BHMS, the first allotment list has offered seats to 2,727 candidates against 3,333 available seats across 48 colleges.
Government colleges account for 134 allotments across two institutions, while 2,593 students have been allotted seats across 46 private colleges. A total of 606 BHMS seats remain vacant after the first round.
Maharashtra BUMS Admission 2026: 246 Seats Allotted
For BUMS, 246 candidates have been allotted seats against 250 available seats across five colleges.
All 102 seats available across two government colleges have been allotted. In the three private colleges, 144 of the 148 available seats have been allotted, leaving four BUMS seats vacant after the first round.
