NEET SS 2025 Cutoff: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has issued a notification regarding the reduction in the qualifying percentile of NEET-SS 2025. As per the notification issued, the qualifying percentile has been reduced from the 50th percentile to the 30th percentile. The revised result has also been shared by NBEMS with the Medical Counselling Committee.
Candidates placed at the 30th percentile or above in their respective NEET SS 2025 Question Paper Groups are now qualified in NEET SS 2025. Candidates must, however, note that there is no change in NEET SS 2025 Question Paper Group-specific rank as declared on January 23, 2026, and no fresh scorecards are being released.

The official notification issued further states that the aggregate marks in percentage in all MBBS professional examinations, as provided by the candidates in their NEET SS 2025 applications, will be verified against the original credentials at the time of admissions by the counselling/ admitting authority.
The scorecards issued to candidates will have a mention of the MBBS aggregate marks as provided by the candidates in their application form wherever such aggregate marks have been used to break the tie of NEET SS 2025 rank.
In case it is noted that the information provided in the NEET-SS 2025 application form is incorrect, and this criterion has been utilised to resolve the tie of the concerned candidate, their candidature for NEET-SS 2025 shall be cancelled.
