Ayodhya Verdict: Schools in Uttar Pradesh will remain closed today, i.e. 11th November 2019 – Monday after the landmark Ayodhya verdict in Ram Mandir – Babri Masjid case. On similar lines, two annual exam for Class 5 to Class 9 Jammu and Kashmir Students, which were scheduled to start on 11th November – Monday, have also been cancelled by the administration. While the announcement for UP School Closure was made on Friday evening itself, the announcement for cancellation of J&K Annual Exams came on 10th November 2019 - Sunday.
ICAI CA Exam 2019 Postponed
In related news, ICAI or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has also postponed ICAI CA Exam 2019 which was scheduled to be held on 11th November 2019 to a later date. ICAI confirmed the cancellation of examination through an official announcement made on its website i.e. icai.org on Sunday. Candidates can check the detailed notification on the website now. Schools Closed in Uttar Pradesh
School Holidays have been announced for all schools and colleges in Uttar Pradesh until 11th November 2019 – Monday. With 12th November 2019 being a holiday due to Guru Nanak Jayanti, Schools in UP will reopen only on 13th November 2019. The decision comes as Ayodhya is at the centre of the case and remains sensitive ahead of the verdict. In the wake of Babri Masjid-Ram Mandir verdict, security has been tightened across the state and sensitive areas have been put on high alert by the state administration.
Schools Closed in Madhya Pradesh
On similar lines, School in Madhya Pradesh will also remain closed on 9th November 2019. According to a report published by ANI news agency, the District Magistrate of Bhopal has also enforced Section 144, banning assembly of more than 4 people in the district ahead of Ayodhya Verdict.

Schools Closed in Karnataka and Jammu
As per the latest update, Schools have also been ordered to remain closed in Karnataka and newly created union territory of Jammu & Kashmir in the wake of the impending Ayodhya verdict. In Karnataka, Bangalore Mirror has reported that State Education Minister S. Suresh has declared all schools and colleges to be shut on Saturday as well.
Delhi Government issues Advisory to Schools
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister also issued an advisory to all Government and Private Schools operating in the state in the wake of Ayodhya verdict being delivered today. While most government schools and many private schools in Delhi will have an holiday on account of 2nd Saturday, all private schools have been advised by the Deputy CM to remain closed ahead of the verdict citing security concerns.
