CBSE Invites Applications for Central Sector Scholarship Scheme, Apply until November 30

The Central Board of Secondary Education has invited students to renew their applications for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for the college and university students. Candidates eligible for the scholarship scheme can visit the official website to complete the application process.

CSSS Applications: The Central Board of Secondary Education has invited students to renew their applications for the Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for college and university students. Those candidates interested in applying for the scholarship can renew their applications by November 30, 2021. Candidates can visit the official website - scholarships.gov.in to complete the renewal of the applications.

Those who wish to apply afresh can also do so until November 30, 2021. It must be noted that fresh applications are accepted for only those students from the State and Central school boards of Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar Chhattisgarh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Madhya Pradesh, Nagaland, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, CISCE, Karnataka, Kerala, Goa, Jammu, and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Puducherry, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Tripura, West Bengal, and CBSE. Students from other states are required to wait in order to apply for the scholarships.

CSSS Documents for applications

Candidates applying for the Scholarship scheme are required to have with them their bank details, Aadhar Card Number, Income Certificate, Valid Mobile Number, Email ID, Caste Certificate, Disability as required.

CSSS Eligibility

  • Candidates applying for the CSSS Scholarships are required to have marks above 80 percentile in their relevant stream in class 12 from a recognized board.
  • Only those candidates pursuing a regular course will be considered for the scholarships.
  • The family income of the students should be less than 8 lakh per annum and must not be receiving any other scholarship and fee reimbursement of any kind.

Candidates applying for the scholarships must make sure that they do so within the stipulated time and get their applications verified.
