Delhi University reopens from today for 1st year UG students, Check details here

Delhi University will be reopening the colleges from today - November 22, 2021, onwards for the first year undergraduate students. Colleges have reportedly started conducting orientations in the online mode for the students. The classes are also scheduled to be conducted in the online mode.

Delhi University will be reopening the colleges from today - November 22, 2021, onwards for the first-year undergraduate students. Colleges affiliated with the university have already started conducting orientation programmes for the new students in order to get themselves acquainted with the college and the departments. 

According to reports, Shri Ram College of Commerce, Indraprastha College for Women, Gargi College, and Ramanujan College will be conducting the orientation programme for the new students today - November 22, 2021. The orientation will be held in the online mode and the classes will also be conducted in the virtual mode. Since the Delhi University colleges are preparing to resume the offline classes for the students, the university recently issued guidelines against ragging. 

Although the Delhi government has given its nod to schools and colleges to resume offline classes since November 1, 2021, Delhi University has stated that it cannot make a decision on the complete reopening of the colleges until the DDMA allows 100 percent seating capacity. It has however also been stated that review meetings will be conducted regarding the reopening. 

According to the academic schedule released by Delhi University, the classes for the first-year UG students will begin on November 22, 2021, and the exams for the first-year students will be held in March 2022. 

DU PG Admissions

Delhi University has commenced the admission process of the Postgraduate students against the first merit list which was released last week. The verification of the documents will be completed by the officials today.

The All India Students Association was on hunger strike at the DU Vice Chancellor's office for the immediate reopening of the colleges.
