JNU Research students can now submit the dissertations and thesis in the online mode in PDF format
Jawaharlal Nehru University will be accepting the thesis and dissertation from the M.Phil, M.Tech, and Ph.D. programmes. The dissertations and thesis can be submitted by following the steps mentioned on the official website.
Jawaharlal Nehru University will be accepting the thesis and dissertation from the M.Phil, M.Tech, and Ph.D. programmes. The thesis and dissertations can be submitted in the online mode. The students can submit the same in the PDF format while the existing formats, proforma, and annexure used in the submissions of the JNU Thesis and dissertation have also been simplified for the students.
JNU has also replaced the three forms including Supervisor's Consent Form, Student’s Declaration Form, and Recommendation form for the online submission of the thesis and dissertation.
JNU Dissertations and Thesis Online Statement
In a statement released by the JNU Evaluation Branch stated that in order to enable and facilitate the students the university has evolved a system for the online submission of the dissertation or thesis for the M.Phil/ M.Tech/Ph.D. programmes.
The JNU University Vice-Chancellor Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar on his social media stated that the university has introduced online submission of Ph.D. and M.Phil thesis with an aim to minimize the Human Intervention and help the research scholars complete their academic requirements without any hindrance during the pandemic situation.
The eligible students from the M.Tech, M.Phil and Ph.D. who are ready with their projects can submit their thesis online in the PDF format by following the steps provided. The JNU Evaluation Branch has also provided the step by step guidelines for the students to streamline the process of submission of the dissertation and thesis.
The University has been shut since March 2020 due to the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown which was imposed. Examinations and other academic activities were postponed since then keeping in mind the crisis.
