AIPMT Result 2015 date has not yet been confirmed but like previous year this year also it is expected to be announced in the Month of May 2014
The medical entrance exam, All India Pre-Medical/ Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT 2015) was conducted on 3 May this year for for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in the academic session 2015-2016 for the 15% seats in Government Medical/ Dental Colleges all over India (except in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir) and also for admission to medical/ dental colleges voluntarily participating in the test. There have been news reports recently, in certain section of media alleging leakage of AIPMT paper held on 3rd May 2015.The AIPMT 2015 results will be made available on CBSE's official result website, www.cbseresults.nic.in whenever the date is set. Meanwhile, this is going to be a game of wait & watch for medical aspirants across India, as the confusion over the AIPMT exam result date continues.
The All India Pre. Medical Test or popularly known as the AIPMT 2015 Final exams was held in April- May 2015. AIPMT is hosted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) . In the year 2012, AIPMT was held on 13 May 2012, and the results for the same were declared on 2 June 2012 in the noon at 4 pm.
The examination of the All Indian Pre Medical Test consists of just one paper. It carries with itself one twenty objective type questions hailing from subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (including Botany and Zoology) that will comprise of four marks each.
It must be noted that, the examination has a negative marking process. For every four wrong answers ,one marks gets deducted from the total score. The overall time allotted to the candidates is three hours.
This entrance examination is conducted for the merit positions for the Medical/Dental Colleges of India. The responsibility of the CBSE is only limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing merit list to the DGHS as per instructions.
At present, only fifteen percent of the total seats in all the medical and dental colleges that are run by the Union of India, state governments, municipal, or other local authorities in India, caters to the candidates who qualify this examination.
Since the year 2010, the pattern of AIPMT has changed . The mains was completely transformed into the objective mode like the preliminary. The preliminary examination now consists of two hundred questions while the mains have one hundred and twenty questions, and the duration for both the exams is three hours.
One of the issues with the All India Pre. Medical Test is that it is just conducted in English and Hindi, making it difficult for the students who belong the culture of vernacular languages.
