Overall, 22.65 Lakhs students are going to take the 2014 exams against 21.76 Lakhs in March 2013. 940000 Candidates have registered for CBSE Class 12 Exam 2014. In 2014, students from around 14,700 schools - 800 more than the previous year-will take the exams

1325627 candidates have registered for the CBSE Class 10 Exam 2014. Of these, 7.29 Lakh students will sit for the school-based Summative II, while 5.96 Lakh students will take the Board-based external exam.

According to the records of last year, nearly 21.77 lakh students gave their board examinations in CBSE affiliated schools. The pass percentage of 12th class students was 82%. The pass percentage of boys was 77.78% while that of girls was 87.98%.

 

This year, CBSE reported that about 22.66 lakh students sat to give their class board examinations.Out of this, 13, 25,627 students were appearing for their 10th class board exams. From this number, about 5.96 lakh students gave their Board based external exam whereas the other 7.29 lakh students appeared for the school based Summative II exams. The records also state that 9.40 lakhs students were sitting for their class 12th boards. The number of students appearing for 12th class boards have increase by 20,000. This indication of an increase in the number of students is a result of growing number of CBSE affiliated schools across the country.According to the latest reports there are currently 14,700 schools affiliated to this board.

The result of CBE 10th class exam 2014 will be declared in the last week of May on the Jagranjosh and official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education while the result of CBSE 12th class exam 2014 will be declared in the third week of May. Students simply need to visit the website, go to the result’s section and enter their roll number to obtain the results.
