Eligibility Criteria for Steno and Other Divisional Posts

Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:

Dy. SP: candidate should be an inspector of Police with minimum 5 years experience in investigation of Criminal Cases.

Inspector: Sub Inspector in Central/State Police Forces/Armed Forces with minimum 5 years experience in vigilance or Investigation or Intelligence work.

Constable: candidate should be serving in the similar of equivalent grade in Central or State Police Forces.

Joint Director (Research): Officers of State/Govt/University/Research Institution having Master’s Degree in Political Science/Sociology/Social work/Economics/Human Rights/Population with 5 years experience.

Senior research Officer: Officers of State/Govt/University/Research Institution with minimum 5/8 years service in the respective required grades and should have Master’s Degree in Political Science, History, Statistics, Sociology, degree in Law with 4 years research experience.

Sr. Research Assistant: Officers of State/Govt/University/Research Institution having Master’s Degree in Political Science/Sociology/Social work/Economics/Human Rights/Population with 2 years experience.

Research Assistant: Officers of State/Govt/University/Research Institution with 5 years regular service in the required grade and should have Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university.

Asst Accounts officer: Officers of State/Govt/University/Research Institution with 8 years regular service in the required grade

Junior Accountant: Junior Accountant having experience of departmental accounting system or equivalent.

Assistant Registrar (Law): candidate should be an officer of central/State/Court possessing Degree in Law with 8 years regular record.

Section Officer: candidate should have officers under Central Govt. holding analogous posts on regular basis with 8 years regular service in the required grade.
