Eligibility Criteria for Post Name Job
Educational Qualification:
Professor : (i) An associate professor in the subject concerned for three years in the recognized medical college/ institute. ( After MD/MS 14 years teaching experience from a recognized University)
(ii) Minimum of four research publications as a first/ second author in Index/ national journals out of which 2 research publications during the tenure of the Associate Professor.
Associate Professor : (i) An Assistant Professor in the concerned subject for four years in a recognized medical college/ Institute (After MD/ MS/ MDS) 6 years teaching experience from a recognized medical college/ Institute.)
(ii) Minimum of two years research publications as a first/ Second author in index/ national journals during the tenure of Assistant Professor.
Assistant Professor : (i) Recognized postgraduate (MD/ MS/ MDS) qualification in the subject. (ii) Three years post graduate teaching experience as Resident/ Demonstrator from recognized medical college/ institute.
Lecturer : Requisite recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject & three years teaching experience as Resident/ Demonstrator from recognized medical college/ Institute.

Professor/ Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor/ Lecturer : Less than 65 years
Age relaxation for government servant and reserved category candidates as per government norms.
Selection Procedure for Posts under UPUMS 2017
Selections will be made by a Selection Committee. The decision for the procedure will be dependent on the same committee.

Eligible candidates can apply for the posts either through the online or offline mode. For online application an applicant has to visit the website www.upums.ac.in and apply as per the prescribed format. For offline application an applicant has to download the application from the same website and submit the application in the duly given format and send it with a demand draft in favor of Finance Officer, Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, State Highway 83, Saifai, Uttar Pradesh 206130. The last date of submission of duly filled application forms is 21 April 2017.
