HPPSC Medical Officer Recruitment 2026Eligibility Criteria
Candidates willing to apply for Medical Officer posts should have eligibility in respect of category, experience, age, and essential qualifications, etc., as mentioned in the advertisement. You can check the details of the eligibility criteria given below-

i) Recognized Medical Qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule(other than licentiate qualifications) to theIndianMedical CouncilAct, 1956. The holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship

(i) Post Graduate Degree or Diploma included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) A postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution as mentioned in Appendix-A.
(iii) Knowledge of customs, manners & dialects of Himachal Pradesh & suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
