KMAT 2026 Exam Guidelines: The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) is organizing the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2026 as a Home-Based Online Remote-Proctored Test. All candidates are advised to make sure that their system meets the technical, environmental, and behavioral requirements of the test so that they do not get disqualified in the exam. This test will be conducted in two different shifts from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for MCA and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for MBA/PGDM and candidates need to login one hour before the start of the test.

For smooth functioning, all candidates should have a desktop or a laptop having webcam, microphone, strong internet connection, and an updated web browser because mobile and tablet are prohibited. The examination room should be silent, well-lit, and free from any kind of external disturbances and third parties. All candidates will be continuously monitored via artificial intelligence and human proctors during the exam. It is a mandate to have continuous visibility on the camera, to wear formal dresses and not to perform any suspicious activities such as looking away, reading aloud questions, and changing tabs of the web browser.

KMAT 2026: Essential Remote-Proctoring Rules & Guidelines

  • Make sure that your laptop/desktop computer has a working webcam and microphone and fast internet connectivity. Mobile phones, tablets, and external screens are not permitted during the test period.

  • It is necessary for candidates to log onto the official examination portal 60 minutes before their assigned shift time. This gives enough time for proper identity verification and compulsory proctoring.

  • Take a printout of your KMAT admission card and an original identity proof document issued by any government authority. Both have to be presented to the webcam as per proctors' instruction.

  • Candidates should sit in an undisturbed and well-lighted room without any backlighting or sound in the background. There shall be no second person present in the same room at all times.

  • It is essential not to look away from the screen, go out of the view of the camera, read out questions or shift tabs on the browser. Any movement of this sort will automatically be detected by AI proctoring and lead to automatic disqualification.

  • The use of calculators, smartwatches, mobile phones, earphones, or any other additional studying material is prohibited completely. The candidate can take a blank paper and a pencil for doing calculations.
