Every success story becomes special when a person refuses to surrender in front of fate. Rajveer Gurjar from Dausa district of Rajasthan is one such name. He lost the palms of both his hands in a terrible accident during childhood but he never lost hope. He secured the fourth rank in the disabled category and has now been assigned the Rajasthan Tehsildar service. His journey proves that a true warrior never accepts defeat. Scroll to know complete details.
A Childhood Accident That Changed Everything
Rajveer Gurjar belongs to Salempur village in Dausa district. When he was ten years old he saw a toy lying on the road in front of his house. He picked it up and brought it home to play with it. The moment he tried to play with that toy it exploded and he lost the palms of both his hands. Many people may have broken down after such an incident but Rajveer decided to fight back. He learned to hold a pen with the remaining part of both his hands and completed his school and college education in this manner. His father Vikram Singh is a head constable in the police department and his mother is a homemaker. His younger brother also stands by him. As a child he often watched officers at work and dreamed of becoming a police officer himself. His disability stopped him from joining the police service but it could not stop him from becoming an officer. He chose the administrative path instead.
Success Through Self Study and Strong Willpower
Rajveer holds a master degree in Hindi and Political Science. This was his second attempt at the RAS examination. He could not clear the exam in his first attempt but he did not give up. Instead of joining any coaching institute he trusted self study and worked hard every day. His patience finally paid off and he cracked the RAS 2024 exam. After the service allocation his family is filled with joy. He believes that no physical weakness should ever defeat the power of the mind because a person with strong intentions can achieve anything. Coming from a rural background he understands the problems of common people. He has promised to work with complete honesty and to support hard working children like him so that they too can fulfil their dreams. His words remind us that success may come late but it always comes to those who never stop trying.
