Asian Games 2026 Day 12 Live Updates: Gold Match Soon! India's Mixed Compound Team & Women In Archery Compound Team Won Gold

Team India is on another gold medal line in the archery compound mixed team against South Korea.

Chikitha and Sahil opened End 1 with two perfect 10s, but South Korea also responded with 10s, and both team level same by 20-20.

In next rotation, both team ended with 40-39, and India take one point lead. Another end 2, India again takes lead with 1 point and final was 60-59.

South Korea produce 20 in second rotation, but team India could able to lead 80-78. South Korea delivered a perfect 20 in the final rotation, putting the pressure back on India. Chikitha hit a 9, but Sahil followed with a 10 to level the scores at 157-157.

In the semi-final of the Compound Mixed Team in Archery, India beat Thailand by 156-155 and reached the final.

India retains compound women’s team archery gold, defeating China at the Asian Games in Nagoya.

Wunier from China starts us off in the final. She begins with a 9. So do Yue Wang and Fangyao Wei. Wang’s has been corrected to a 10. Three 10s for India and an early lead. IND 30 - 28 CHN

Second half of End 1. Perfect shooting in the three arrows for both teams. IND 60 - 58 CHN

End 2 begins. A nine first up but two 10s to follow. Chikitha shoots a 9, but Prithika and Jyothi get the perfect score. IND 89 - 87 CHN

Wunier shoots a 9 after two consecutive 10s. Three 10s again for India. IND 119 - 116 CHN

Time for the third end. Three 10s for China, putting the pressure on the Indians. Chikitha with a 9 again. But Prithika and Jyothi hit 10. IND 148 - 146 CHN

A two-point gap for China to make up. 29 in the rotation so far, with Fangyao hitting a 9. India extends the advantage with three 10s. IND 178 - 175 CHN

Final End now. Wu misses the 10 circle by a margin. China can’t afford nines anymore. Chikitha and Prithika hit 10s and that should be that for India ideally. Jyothi finds the mark as well.

Gulveer Singh Wins Bronze in Men’s 5000m Race on Day 11 at Asian Games 2026. He completed this 5000m race in 13:32.75, and he also broke his previous best record of 12:59.77.

The Indian team of Kiran, Poovamma Machettira, Prachi, and Vithya Ramraj finished first and won India's first athletics gold in women's 4x400m Relay at the Asian Games 2026.

Supriya Basavaraju of India is competing in Athletics Women's High Jump in the final at the Asian Games 2026, and she has jumped in easiest way from her past 1.75m with her first attempt. 

Kuldeep Kumar with his final attempt for the men’s pole vault, and he has to goes ever so close to the bar on the way which contorts himself away from it.

Joga Purty of India finished ninth in Sport Climbing Women's Speed 4 and qualified for the next round, finishing with a 7.28 seconds. She will competing again for tomorrow in the first quarter final.

Parveen of India beat Shu Li of the People's Republic of China 5 to 0 in the women's 65 kg boxing semifinal and confirmed to win the bronze medal for India.

She will compete against Chen Nien-chin of Chinese Taipei in the women's 65 kg gold medal final at the Asian Games 2026 on Friday, 2 October, 2026.
