WB Result 2026 Rechecking and Revaluation Process
The West Bengal board will begin the application process for candidates to submit their answer sheets for rechecking and revaluation. Those who wish to get their answer sheets rechecked for totalling errors must visit the official website to apply. The results of the answer sheet retotaling will be released within a month from the announcement of the main results.
WB Result 2026 Compartment Exams
WB class 10 and class 12 compartment exams are conducted for candidates who wish to improve their exam scores. Students must fill out the application forms for the compartment exams on the official website. The board will conduct the compartment exams in August-September 2026.

West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE)
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has been entrusted with the task of managing secondary-level school education in the state of West Bengal. It was established through the West Bengal Secondary Education Act, of 1950, though it started functioning only around the year 1951. The Board provides course curriculum to the affiliated schools, monitors the implementation of education policies, and conducts the yearly WB Madhyamik Examination.
West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE)
The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSEE) was established through the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education Act 1975. It has been entrusted with the task of regulating the school education system at the 10+2 level. At present, the WBCHSE organises the Class 12 Board Examination in the state for the evaluation of students at the Higher Secondary level.
