NID BDes DAT 2024 Prelims Result Postponed to April 4, Check Details Here

NID DAT Prelims Result 2024: National Insitute of Design (NID) has postponed the NID DAT prelims result 2024 date for the BDes programme. As per the revised schedule, the results will be announced on April 4, 2024, on the official website:  admissions.nid.edu. Previously, it was scheduled to be held on March 28, 2024.

Candidates unsatisfied with their NID DAT prelims result 2024 can also request for rechecking. Meanwhile, the weightage criteria for prelims and mains for preparing the merit list for NID BDes DAT 2024 will be announced later.

Candidates who perform well in the prelims exam will be shortlisted to sit in the NID DAT BDes 2024 main exam scheduled to be held on April 27 and 28, 2024. Students can download the NID DAT Main 2024 admit card from April 14, 2024, onwards. 

How to Check NID DAT Prelims Result 2024?

Candidates who took the exam can check out the result in online mode. They can go through the following steps to access the scorecard.

Step 1: Go to the official website: admissions.nid.edu

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the NID DAT Prelims Result 2024 link

Step 3: Submit the login credentials

Step 4: NID Prelims Result 2024 BDes will appear on the screen

Step 5: View and download the scorecard

Step 6: Keep a hardcopy for future reference

What is Tie-Break policy of BDes DAT Prelims?

If more than one candidates secure the same marks, the following criteria will be used to issue ranks:

• The higher rank will be given to the candidate who has secured higher marks in Part B of the DAT Prelims.
• If the tie still persists, a higher rank will be given to the candidate who has gained higher marks in Part A of the DAT prelims.
• If the tie is still there, then both candidates will be assigned the same rank.
