NVS Class 9, 11 Admission: LEST 2027 Registration Ending Soon, Know How To Apply

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is currently accepting applications for the Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST) 2027 for admission to vacant seats in Classes 9 and 11. The registration window will close on September 30, 2026.

Students who meet the eligibility requirements and wish to seek admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) can submit their applications through the official NVS admission portal. The selection test for both classes is scheduled to be held on April 10, 2027.

Eligibility

For Class 9 admission, candidates are required to fulfil the prescribed age and educational qualifications and should be studying in the relevant class during the academic session specified by NVS.

For Class 11 admission, students appearing for or completing Class 10 from a recognised school are required to meet the conditions prescribed by NVS. Eligibility also depends on the availability of seats and the subjects or streams offered at the concerned JNV.
