Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University: Certificate Course in Entrepreneurial Leadership

Implementing their vision, The Faculty of Management and Commerce, Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University in collaboration with ISOEL (International School of Entrepreneurial Leadership-endorsed by Seattle Pacific University, USA) has launched a six month certification course in Entrepreneurial Leadership. American Entrepreneurs are visiting the campus to impart life, leadership and business skills to students. They are delving deep into their experience as teachers and entrepreneurs to give key insights to young minds.

ISOEL is an international non-profit organization dedicated to teaching the essentials of how to be an entrepreneurial leader in India. Their mission is to inspire Indian university students to create value for their nation and their community by starting businesses and NGO ventures that create jobs for their country and social enterprises that address the social needs of the nation. Six courses are taught, which result in a real-time business plan. A batch of students develops this venture and then presents at an entrepreneurship conference at the end of the program.

The training is very interactive, using video, audio and discussion.

“Our students are trained in creating business models which are fully implementable. We see our students acting on this training, such that real NGOs and for profit businesses are being created. We empower our students to initiate businesses and projects, in the public, private and social sectors. And then, the students do it.”

As one student remarked, “This course has changed the way that I think about business. Now I see that I can be successful.”

Another student shared, “I understand my own leadership potential, as well as the future challenges of initiating a project. It has helped me a lot.”
