Delhi: Staying true to their promise, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has declared the AIIMS MBBS Result 2016 as per the annual examination schedule announced earlier. The AIIMS Medical Entrance Test Result were declared on 14th June 2016 in the evening. Initial reports suggest that a total 7,137 candidates have managed to qualify in the coveted medical entrance examination which screens students for admission to MBBS programme at all the 7 AIIMS institutes across India. As per the data announced by Dr Ashok Jaryal, Sub Dean, Exams, AIIMS a total of 1,89,357 were competing for 675 seats on offer at AIIMS institutes across the country. Of this around 7,137 medical aspirants have made the cut by qualifying in the examination. AIIMS is expected to declare the AIIMS merit list and cut-off soon in which around 2000 candidates will be shortlisted and called in for the AIIMS counselling sessions.

AIIMS Counselling Dates
As per the tentative schedule, the first round of AIIMS MBBS counselling is likely to take place from 4th to the 7th July 2016 (Monday – Thursday). The second round will commence on 4th August whereas the third round will be conducted on 6th Sept. If seats are found vacant even after the third round of counselling, an additional round might be held on 27th Sept 2016. However, students must keep in mind that these are just tentative dates and are liable to change as per the discretion of AIIMS.
AIIMS MBBS Exam Schedule & Seat Availibility
The AIIMS Medical Entrance Exam was conducted on 29th May, 2016 (Sunday), in which around 2 lakh candidates seems to have appeared for the coveted test. The AIIMS Medical Entrance Test is conducted by the central authority to shortlist aspiring medical students for admission to MBBS programme at any of the 7 AIIMS institutes located across the country. A total of 672 MBBS seats are up for grabs for medical aspirants through the AIIMS MBBS Result. Currently, there are 72 MBBS seats available in AIIMS Delhi, and 100 MBBS seats each are up for grabs at newly setup AIIMS institutes located at Bhopal, Patna, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Raipur and Bhubaneswar.

Step 2: Click on the link for 'Roll Number Wise Result' and 'Rank Wise Result'
Step 3: Your AIIMS MBBS Result will be displayed in PDF list format
Step 4: Medical candidates can also use the Find functionality (Ctrl+F) to find their name and roll number in the list
Step 5: Candidates are also advised to take printout or download softcopy or AIIMS Result for reference purposes
