UP Metro Salary 2024: Cost of Training & Surety Bond
The candidate selected for the Executive or Non-executive post in UP Metro must deposit the non-refundable cost of Training through a demand draft in favour of 'Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited ' before joining UPMRC. The cost of training for all the posts is shared below.

- The candidate appointed for Executive posts will also be required to sign a Surety Bond of Rs. 3,00,000 to serve the corporation for a minimum of three years (excluding periods of leave without pay or extra-ordinary leave). Additionally, a three-month prior notice or leave salary in lieu of the short notice period will be necessary before resigning from the corporation.
- The candidate appointed for Non-Executive posts, excluding Maintainers, must sign a surety bond of Rs.1,50,000 to serve the corporation for at least three years (exclusive of the period in which they remained on LWP or EOL) and also three months prior notice or leave salary in lieu of short notice period, will be required before resigning from the corporation.
- The candidate appointed to a Non-Executive post, particularly for Maintainers, is required to sign a surety bond of Rs. 75,000 to serve the corporation for a minimum of three years (excluding periods of leave without pay or extra-ordinary leave). Additionally, a three-month prior notice or leave salary in lieu of the short notice period will be necessary before resigning from the corporation.
UP Metro Salary: Probation Period
The candidates selected for the executive and non-executive posts will undergo probation for two years (including a training period), where they will attend intensive training for the prescribed duration. The corporation can extend or reduce the training period for any or all trainees at its discretion. If the performance of the candidates is found unsatisfactory as per the terms & conditions of the appointment order, then their service during the probation period can be terminated by the corporation. LWP or EOL is not included in probation. Upon successfully completing the probationary period and based on their performance, candidates are expected to be considered for permanent employment with UPMRC.
