UPSC CDS 1 Application Form 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started accepting online applications for Combined Defence Services (CDS) at upsc.gov.in for 457 vacancies of IMA, INA, etc. All interested and qualified applicants can apply online between December 11 and December 31. Between January 1 and January 7, candidates can modify their application forms by paying a modification fee.

UPSC has released the CDS notification 2024 on its official website. The online application window has been open from December 11 to December 31, 2024, on its official website. The table below shows the dates for the registration process.

All the eligible candidates can apply online for the announced vacancies. The online application process consists of one-time registration and form completion. After completing the registration process, candidates can use the provided registration number and password. After completing the registration process, you can use that registration number and password to submit the UPSC CDS application form 2024 and pay the necessary fees.

UPSC CDS 1 Apply Online Eligibility Criteria

The UPSC CDS age limit varies as per the academy the candidate is applying. Check the list below for academy-wise age limits.

(i) For IMA—unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 2002 and not later than 1st January, 2007, only are eligible.

(ii) For the Indian Naval Academy—unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 2002 and not later than 1st January, 2007, only are eligible.

(iii) For Air Force Academy—

Age: 20 to 24 years as of 1st January, 2026, i.e., born not earlier than 2nd January, 2002 and not later than 1st January, 2006. (Upper age limit for candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years, i.e., born not earlier than 2nd January, 2000 and not later than 1st January, 2007, only are eligible.)

(iv) For Officers' Training Academy—(SSC Course for men), unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 2001 and not later than 1st January, 2007, only are eligible.

(v) For Officers' Training Academy—(SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 2001 and not later than 1st January, 2007.

Step 3: Provide details like the Applicant's Name, Email and mobile Number, Photograph, Signature, Gender and category, Father's Name and Mother's Name, Date of Birth
