Uttarakhand Police Recruitment 2026: If you are looking for Police jobs, then there is good news for you. The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) and Uttarakhand Police Department are all set to launch a major recruitment drive for the recruitment of 1500 personnel across the state. These posts will be filled in different departments across the state, including Civil Police, Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB), Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Fire Services.

According to the media reports, the recruitment proposal is currently being finalised at the government level, and once the proposal is approved, the requisition for the relevant posts will be sent to the recruitment agency. The whole exercise is to give the current law-and-order situation, mounting security challenges, and the evolving nature of policing in the state, ensuring adequate human resources for the department is considered crucial.

As per reports, out of 1500 vacancies, approximately 720 posts of Constable and Head Constable in the Civil Police, 315 posts in the IRB, 225 posts in the Fire Service, and 220 posts in the ATS. However, the final number of posts will be determined following a review at the government level.
