AP EDCET 2025: List of Best Colleges Accepting AP EDCET Scores Offering Admission to Education Courses

This article gives information about the list of best colleges accepting the marks of AP EDCET scores, including both private and government colleges. Additionally, this article gives information about the seat intake and eligibility criteria for admission to colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

The Education Common Entrance Test-2025 (AP EDCET-2025) was conducted in online mode by Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). This test is for students seeking admission into B.Ed. and B.Ed. Special Education courses in government, aided, private, and university colleges of education in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2025–2026.

The provisional answer key for the AP EDCET 2025 exam has been uploaded. Candidates are advised to raise objections if there are any. The results and ranks for the AP EDCET 2025 exam will be declared on June 21, 2025, as per the official notification.

To qualify for the entrance exam, candidates who belong to the unreserved category must score at least 37 marks out of 150 marks, i.e., 25%. There is no minimum qualification mark for candidates belonging to the reserved category. Also, there are no minimum marks required for women applying for Physical Sciences or Mathematics teaching methods.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission through AP EDCET Scores

The AP EDCET exam is conducted for subjects like Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Social Studies, Biological Sciences, and English. All these subjects have different eligibility criteria that a candidate is required to qualify for to seek admission to Bachelor of Education courses.

Below is the list of some of the eligibility criteria for a candidate to seek admission to the Bachelor of Education program through the AP EDCET marks:-

A candidate who has a degree in B.A. Special English and M.A. English students are eligible to seek admission.
A candidate who has a degree in B.A. or B.Com, B.B.M or B.C.M with social science is eligible to seek admission.
A candidate who has a degree in B.A. or B.Sc. with Mathematics or B.E. and B.Tech. with Mathematics and Physics is eligible to seek admission.
A candidate who has a degree in B.Sc. Physics and Chemistry or allied material sciences or B.E. or B. Tech. with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry is eligible to seek admission.
