Jashn-e-Rekhta 2024 is one of the world's largest Urdu language and cultural festivals. It will be held from December 13 to 15, 2024, at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. The festival will offer a rich spectrum of artistic expressions with over 200 artists across more than 40 sessions on multiple stages, encompassing genres such as Ghazals, Sufi music, Qawwali, and poetry recitations.

Prices: Starting from ₹499 for a single day; passes for all three days are available at ₹1400. For Students, tickets for all three days are available at a special price of ₹1200.

What to Expect at the Jashn-e-Rekhta Festival

The festival will kick-start with a grand performance by Padmashri Kailash Kher on December 13.

Special sessions will discuss topics such as Nationalism in Urdu Poetry and The Art of Humor and Satire.

There will also be a food festival, curated as Aiwan-e-Zaiqa, along with a book bazaar and a marketplace for handicrafts.

Nearest Metro Station

The nearest metro station is Vijay Chowk Metro Station which falls under the Yellow Line. It is easily accessible from there to the stadium.
