India started Day 6 of the Asian Games 2026 on a positive note, winning 2 medals, including gold and silver in shooting. There are also several other medal assurances and qualifications for India in Aichi-Nagoya.

The day started with a gold medal for India as Kamaljeet and Suruchi Singh clinched the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event final with a historic record.

Another medal came in shooting, with Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar, Rudransh Patil, Balasahab Patil and Neeraj Kumar winning silver in the Men’s 50m Rifle 3P category.

India also ensured at least 2 silver medals in kabaddi, with both the men’s and women’s teams securing their places in the finals. With several other key highlights, India have assured 6 medals for the tally so far.
