The United States holds its global nominal GDP with a flawless 100.0 score. But the long term global economic forecasts show an eastward shift of GDP until 2050.
The growing Asian megacities are emerging at such a fast pace that they are creating almost $1.8 trillion of GDP. They will soon be among the world's largest city economies along with cities like London and Tokyo by 2050.

New Delhi is distinguished as the prime driver of growth of India GDP in long-term global economic forecasts. According to Oxford Economics, New Delhi will account for an addition of $1.8 trillion to its nominal GDP from 2025 to 2050.
The expansion makes New Delhi one of the top ten largest cities of the world in terms of dollars added along with New York, Shanghai, and Tokyo.
Fuelled by growing service sectors and workforce preparation, New Delhi will climb 49 positions to become the 14th largest city economy in the world.
