The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education board (GSEB) is responsible for conducting main and supplementary public examinations every year in the month of March and October for 10th standard (SSC) and 12th standard (HSC). These examinations are conducted in 335 centers for more than 7 lakh students. In these examinations approximately 101 subjects are covered and the question paper is set in different languages i.e. Gujarati, Hindi, English, Marathi, Sindhi, and Tamil. The GSEB HSC examination is conducted in 158 centers and more than 2 Lakhs students appeared in this examination last year. In these examinations 168 subjects are covered and the paper is set in three different languages Gujarat, Hindi, and English.
