The Nagaland board of education was set up through an Act by Nagaland legislative assembly and it started functioning from 1st October 1974 and in March 1975, the board had its first high school leaving certificate examination. The examination was conducted in 6 centers and approximately 2008 candidates appeared for the examination. Over the years, the evolution system of NBSE has tremendously improved and the main task of the board is to conduct class 10th (HSLC) and class 12th (HSSLC) examinations. All the details related to the examination such as date sheet, time table, hall ticket and many more are all displayed on the website of NBSE.
If the indicators of previous examinations are examined, the results for the year 2013 were announced in the month of May. The examinations were held in March-April and all the information related to the same are displayed on the official website www.nbsenagaland.com. Apart from visiting the official website students can also register their respective e-mail id or can get their contact number enrolled for the same. All these procedures are extremely easy to carry out. As far as the examinations of 2014 are concerned, they will be held in the month of March-April and similar to previous year schedule, the NBSE HSSLC (12th) result 2014 would be probably declared in the month of May. The dates for the same are not confirmed. It is significant for the students to reach fifteen minutes before the commencement of the examination. This will help them to easily locate their respective seats and classroom. Students also must have all the required utensils be it pen, pencil, or eraser. Last minute preparations sometimes results in creating hassles.
Another significant aspect is that of study material. Students should very wisely choose their study material and once the syllabus is completed, they should immediately jump to mock test papers or model test papers. This move will indeed create confidence among them.
