Shankar’s International Children’s Competition is Declared Open for Young Artists

Shankar International is inviting applications form a young artists for competition. The competition including painting, drawing and writing is organised by Children’s Book Trust. Students below 16 years of age can apply before October 16, 2017.

Children’s Book Trust is conducting the painting, drawing or writing competition open for children of any nationality on any theme or subject as per choice and interest of the participant. Multiple entries are accepted.

Entries for written competition can be poems, plays, short stories, essays, descriptive writings, etc.

Last date to submit applications is October 16, 2017. To check the eligibility and application procedures follow the proceedings: 

Eligibility:

The call is made out to children across the world of age not more than 16 years old.

National Talent Search Examination 2018 announced for class 10 students

Reward:

Winners of the competition will be acknowledged with:

  • The President of India's Gold Medal for the best painting or drawing.
  • The Shankar's Award for the best written work.
  • 15 Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Gold Medals for the next best paintings, drawings or written work.
  • Around 300 Silver Medals and 300 prizes.
  • Certificates of Merit to deserving entries.

Submissions for writing competition are expected via email at sicc.cbt@gmail.com, and painting and drawing competitions are to be sent via post only at
