Candidate who have successfully completed apprenticeship in DRDO within the last 2 years (from the crucial date of eligibility of CEPTAM-11 advt) are exempted from appearing in Trade Test 

Candidates shortlisted in II round will have to appear in the Trade test which is qualifying in nature. It is mandatory for candidates to qualify in the Trade Test. The minimum qualifying marks is 50% for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates

Candidates shortlisted in Tier  2 exam will have to appear in the Trade Test which will be a practical skills test of the candidates and will be of ITI level in the related trade. The duration of the Trade Test may vary depending upon the trade.

As per the detailed notification released, the minimum qualifying marks for Tier-I and Part II of Tier-II is 40% for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and 35% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Once released, candidates will get the admit Card Download Link for the Senior Technical Assistant B and Technician A positions at the official website of DRDO i.e. drdo.gov.in. Candidates will have to use their logging credentials including registration number and password through the official portal. 

Candidates appearing in the written exam for the  Senior Technical Assistant B & Technician A posts can download their hall ticket from the official website after providing the login credentials to the link on the home page. You can check all the essential credentials from the information given by you during submission of online application.

Candidates selected finally for these posts will get the Pay Matrix Level-2(₹ 19900-63200) as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix and other benefits/allowances as per extant Govt. of India rules. 

Once released, candidates appearing in the exam can download the admit card after using their login credentials including their registration number and password at drdo.gov.in.

As per the detailed notice released, there will be time-bound sections in the Tier II exam and each section will be  included in time-bound manner and will automatically lock and close once its allotted time expires.

As per the detailed notification, the Part-I (Personality Test) will comprise 35 questions to be completed in 20 minutes. This part is mandatory but will not be considered for the selection or merit list.

Candidates who have to appear in the written exam for the DRDO CEPTAM 11 Tier 2 are required to  provide their registration number and password to download the admit card.

The Defence Research and Development Organization will soon release the city initiation slip for the DRDO CEPTAM 11 Tier II 2026 on its official website. 

The Tier-II (STA-B and TECH-A) examination will be conducted by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) on 15th June, 2026 (Monday).

Based on Tier-II examination merit, candidates will be provisionally shortlisted and selected for Trade Test in a ratio of 1:8 (No. of vacancy: No. of shortlisted candidates) subject to the condition that they secure the minimum qualifying marks in Tier-II (Part-II) examination.
