World’s Best School Prizes 2024 India: In a significant achievement for India’s education sector, three schools—Ryan International School in Delhi, CM RISE School Vinoba in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, and Kalvi International Public School in Madurai, Tamil Nadu—were recognized among the winners of the World's Best School Prizes 2024. This prestigious global recognition highlights the schools' remarkable contributions to innovation and community impact.
The awards are presented by T4 Education, a London-based organization, in collaboration with Accenture, American Express, and the Lemann Foundation. The aim is to celebrate the extraordinary efforts of schools worldwide in shaping a sustainable future.
World’s Best School Prizes: Indian Schools Leading Educational Reform
The award acknowledges schools that go beyond traditional teaching methods by embracing innovative practices that address pressing challenges in their communities. Jill Huntley, an Accenture representative, praised the winners stating, “Your innovative solutions will inspire countless others across the world to take the action necessary to safeguard the future of our planet.”
Each of the three winning Indian schools stood out due to their commitment to educational reform and impactful projects.
- Ryan International School in Delhi was celebrated for initiatives promoting inclusivity and sustainability in its curriculum. The school was also awarded for tackling water scarcity and pollution through innovative projects like hydroponics and biogas plants.
- CM RISE School Vinoba in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, was honoured for leveraging local resources to enhance learning outcomes and community engagement. It was recognised for innovative practices such as integrating education with local festivals and hosting early morning sports sessions.
- Kalvi International Public School in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, emerged the winner in the Community Choice Award category for its innovative practices, which foster practical skills and social responsibility among students.
These awards not only bring honour to India but also inspire schools worldwide to integrate transformative approaches that benefit students and the broader community.
Prize Money Distribution
Each of the winning schools, including those in Delhi and Ratlam, will receive USD 10,000, sharing a total prize fund of USD 50,000.
By receiving such global recognition, these schools exemplify how education can be a driving force for positive change, inspiring institutions worldwide to adopt impactful and innovative practices.
