The UPSC has rescheduled the dates for Personality Test/ Interview which is going to be conducted on 22 January 2026. Candidates whose interview was scheduled on 22 January 2026 can check the new dates and schedule in this article.
UPSC Interview 2026: The candidates who have appeared for the Civil Services Mains Examination (CSME) 2025 and have qualified are allowed to appear for the Personality Test (Interview). As per the official notice, the interview that was scheduled for 22 January 2026 has been rescheduled due to early closure of office on 22 January on account of “Full dress rehearsal for Republic Day Parade,2026”.
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Civil Services Examination (CSE) once in a year to recruit eligible candidates for All India Group A and B Services. The UPSC CSE is a three-step selection process which involves Preliminary exam, Mains exam, and Personality Test/ Interview. Those who qualify the Mains examination will be able to appear for the Interview stage. The Preliminary exam is conducted to shortlist the candidates for Mains.

UPSC Interview 2026 New Dates
The UPSC has rescheduled the Personality Test dates for CSME 2025 for 27 February 2026. The Interview which was scheduled for 22 January 2026 has only been rescheduled and the new dates has been announced by the UPSC through a short notice which was released on UPSC’s official website.

The UPSC has released a short notice regarding the rescheduling of the dates for the Personality Test for CSME 2025. The notice was published on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in. The test has been rescheduled for 27 February 2026 which was previously scheduled for 22 January 2026.
