IIM Kozhikode PGP Admission Process 2026; Fee, Cutoff, Eligibility and Placements

IIM Kozhikode is one of the premier management institutes in the country and the fifth Indian Institute of Management (IIM) to be established in India. One of the second second generation IITs, established in 1996. IIM Kozhikode admission to the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) is based on CAT scores, academic performance in Class X & XII, work experience, academic diversity, and personal interview. Candidates planning to pursue PGP from IIM Kozhikode must check the eligibility criteria, cutoff, fee structure, selection process and placements before applying to the institute.

IIM Kozhikode PGP Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

• Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
• Candidates who do not have a bachelor’s degree must have completed CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• Candidates who have secured 50% marks in CA/CMA(ICWA)/CS and have a bachelor’s degree must secure a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their bachelor’s degree.

IIM Kozhikode PGP Selection Process

IIM Kozhikode follows a three-stage selection process. Given below is a detailed step-by-step process:

• Stage 1: After appearing for the CAT 2026, candidates who have selected IIM Kozhikode in their preferred institute and fulfilled the minimum eligibility criteria will receive an email from IIM Kozhikode for online admission registration. Candidates who have successfully completed the online registration process will only be considered for stage 2.
• Stage 2: In this stage, candidates belonging to each reservation category will be shortlisted based on Aggregate Index Score (AIS). It is a computer based on the CAT percentile, Class X & XII scores, work experience and gender / academic diversity. 
• Stage 3: In the last stage, the shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear for Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT).  After appearing for PI and WAT session, a merit list will be prepared based on the candidates overall performance in CAT, WAT, and PI.
