The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially uploaded the NTA UGC NET June Re-Exam Answer Key 2026, along with the candidate response sheets on its official website, i.e, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The re-exam was conducted on September 9, 2026, and September 10, 2026, for three specific subjects: English, Commerce, and Sociology. Candidates will now be able to check their responses against the provisional answer keys released by the NTA and submit any objections online within the given time. The objection window will be open from September 10 to 13, 2026. The challenge fee for each question is Rs. 200.

UGC NET June Re-Exam Objection Application Fee 2026

NTA has uploaded the provisional answer keys for the three subjects for which the exams were held from September 9 to September 10, 2026: English, Commerce, and Sociology, on its official website. Candidates will be able to view their provisional answer keys by logging in using their application number and password. They may also raise challenges against any questions for the subject they appeared for. The candidates will have to pay a processing fee to raise objections:-

Important Instructions for Raising Objections to UGC NET June Re-Exam 2026

Candidates should note some important instructions given below before raising any objection:-

  • Objections or challenges will only be submitted through online mode, during the given time, along with the given processing fee. Any challenge submitted through any other means, like email, fax, letter, etc, or without the fee will not be entertained.
  • If the objection raised by the candidate is accepted by the subject experts, the corrections made will be applied equally to all candidates of that specific subject. Therefore, candidates are advised not to raise objections more than once.
  • The objection fee of Rs. 200 per question challenge will be refunded in full for every challenge that is accepted by the subject experts.
  • The answer key prepared after the consideration of challenges will be treated as final. No challenge or grievance related to the answer keys will be entertained after the closure of the challenge window or after the result declaration.

Steps to Download the UGC NET June Re-Exam Provisional Answer Key 2026

Candidates can verify their marks and raise any objections if needed directly on the official website, following the steps given below:-

  • Visit the official NTA website,i.e., ugcnet.nta.ac.in
  • Click on the link titled Challenge of Provisional Answer Keys for UGC-NET June 2026 Re-Exam.
  • Log in using the Application number and date of birth or password as mentioned on the Admit card.
  • Check the recorded CBT response sheet alongside the provisional answer key.
  • To challenge an answer, select the specific Question ID, select the suggested correct option, and upload supporting documents.
  • Pay the processing fee of Rs. 200 per question and submit.
