AEEE 2027 Exam: The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has announced the examination dates for the Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering (AEEE) 2027. As per the official AEEE website, the entrance examination will be conducted from April 15 to May 7, 2027. The exam will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode for students seeking admission to BTech programmes at Amrita campuses.
The university has not yet released separate phase-wise dates within this examination window. Candidates planning to appear for AEEE 2027 should keep checking the official website for the detailed schedule.
AEEE 2027 Registration To Begin In November
Amrita has said that applications for BTech admission for the 2027 academic session will begin in November 2026. Candidates will be able to apply through the official AEEE website.
Students appearing for Class 12 or an equivalent examination in 2027 can register for AEEE 2027, subject to the prescribed eligibility criteria. The admission process will include registration, slot booking, admit card download, the entrance examination and participation in the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP).
Candidates can also seek BTech admission through their JEE Main percentile, subject to Amrita’s admission rules. Students can choose the applicable admission route during the process.
AEEE 2027 Exam Pattern
AEEE is a national-level computer-based entrance examination. The test has a duration of 2.5 hours and covers subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Quantitative Aptitude. The question paper consists of multiple-choice questions.
The official website currently lists 100 questions in the examination, comprising 40 Mathematics questions, 25 Physics, 20 Chemistry, 10 Quantitative Aptitude and five English questions. Each correct answer carries three marks, while one mark is deducted for an incorrect answer.

Candidates, if applying with JEE Mains percentile, for the AEEE 2027 exam can do so without paying the fee.
- Visit the official website aeee.amrita.edu and click on the “Register Now,” button.
- Fill details including personal and academic information and pay the Rs 1,300 fee.
- Submit the details and relevant documents.
- You will be successfully registered for the examination.
