CEED, UCEED 2027 Registration: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has formally launched the online application portal for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2027. The eligible candidates looking for admissions into Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) degree courses at premier participating institutes such as IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, and IIITDM Jabalpur can apply online on the official registration portal available at uceedapp.iitb.ac.in. The online application form can be filled out until October 31, 2026 (without late fees) or until November 6, 2026 (late fee extension). The candidates have to fulfill the criterion of passing Class 12 or equivalent from any stream (science/commerce/arts) examination in the year 2026 or appearing in the year 2027 along with age requirements.
The application procedure involves creating a candidate profile, filling in educational information, selecting preferred test cities, uploading the scanned copy of required documents (photograph, signature, and marksheets), and making a non-refundable registration fee of ₹2,000 for females, SC/ST, and physically challenged (PwD) candidates and ₹4,000 for all other candidates via online payment modes.

CEED, UCEED 2027 Application Process: Overview

Eligibility Conditions: The candidate should pass or appear for his Class 12 (or equivalent) qualifying examination in the year 2026/2027 in any one of the streams (science, commerce, or arts). The birth date of general category, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates should be from October 1, 2002, onwards (SC, ST, and PwD candidates can avail a concession of five years).
Important Application Process: The applicant has to register with a valid email id and phone no., fill the application form, select three test centers, upload scanned photographs/signature/qualifying certificate and pay the application fee online.
Test Pattern: UCEED 2027 will test the candidate’s design aptitude by conducting a 3-hour test divided into two parts; part A will consist of a computer-based test while part B consists of offline test of sketching & design aptitude.
