The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur will close the registration process for its Post-Doctoral Fellowship 2026 programme on September 30, 2026. Selected candidates will receive Rs 80,000 per month as stipend, which will increase 10 per cent annually, subject to the review by Performance Assessment Committee and a Rs. 50,000 per annum contingency grant.
Indian or foreign nationals with exceptional academic record, high quality research and valuable industrial experience can apply for the fellowship.

Individuals applying for the fellowship must complete the online procedure, submit documents and appear for the presentation on the proposed work and an interview. To apply online, follow the below steps:

- Then, login with your application number and password.
- Submit the required documents.

Who Can Apply For IIT Jodhpur Post-Doctoral Fellowship?
Candidates could be an Indian or foreign national and must hold a PhD degree with first class or equivalent grade in the preceding engineering and science degrees in the respective discipline, with a consistent academic record & demonstrative evidence of excellent research output (research papers and/or patents).
Those who hold a PhD degree in engineering and science can apply within two years after completing their PhD. To apply, male candidates should not be older than 35 years. Age relaxation of five years in case of reserved category and female candidates is applicable.
PhD scholars who have submitted their thesis are also eligible to apply for the position. However, they must ensure to submit the provisional degree certificate within three months from the date of appointment as an Institute PDF or else, their application may get cancelled.
