What to Do In case of Power Failure or Machine Lock ?

If a power failure occurs after a candidate has logged in, no action is needed from the candidate. The exam timer will stop as soon as the disruption begins. It will resume after the power supply is restored. The candidate will not lose any examination time.

A candidate machine may also become locked if it loses connection with the primary server. In this situation the IT manager present in the examination room will check the issue. The IT manager will then verify the candidate and unlock the machine.

After the machine is unlocked the timer will continue from the same point where the candidate stopped. This means candidates will get the full time allotted for the examination. The NBEMS guidelines are designed to ensure a fair and smooth exam experience for everyone.

What to do if you face a System Issue during NEET PG exam 2026

If you face any technical issues with the computer during the NEET PG 2026 exam then inform the invigilator immediately. This includes problems such as screen flickering or mouse issues. You should also report if the system gets locked or hangs repeatedly. The IT manager or invigilator will check the issue and lock the affected computer. If needed you have been shifted to a buffer seat in the same lab or another lab so that you can continue the NEET PG exam without disruption.

NBEMS has also made comprehensive security arrangements for the NEET PG exam. These include advance sealing and verification of exam centres. CCTV surveillance and biometric authentication will be used. Candidates will undergo frisking before entering the exam hall. Signal jammers will be deployed at exam centres. The exam will also have dynamic computer and live monitoring through central and regional command centres. Independent observers and appraisers will provide real time supervision during the NEET PG examination.
