UPSSSC Forest Guard Exam Analysis 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has successfully conducted the Forest Guard & Wildlife Guard Mains Written Examination today September 27, 2026 (Sunday). The examination was conducted across various districts in Uttar Pradesh. The test was held in a single shift from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The exam was conducted in offline pen and paper mode and consisted of 100 questions from various subjects including subject related knowledge of wildlife, Mathematics, Biology, Computer & Information Technology and state general knowledge related to Uttar Pradesh. Under this recruitment drive the commission will fill a total of 708 vacancies for Forest Guard (Van Rakshak) and Wildlife Guard (Vanya Jeev Rakshak) posts under the Forest Department.

UPSSSC Forest Guard Exam Analysis 2026: What Next After the Mains Examination?
After the Mains Examination, the commission will issue the provisional answer key in a day or two which will allow candidates to raise objections within a specific time limit . Once the objections are reviewed the final answer key and result will be released subsequently. Candidates who will qualify will then proceed to the Document Verification (DV) round after which the final merit list will be prepared.

The UPSSSC Forest Guard exam consists of many stages. Candidates first have to appear in the PET Shortlisting Process after that mains written exam then those who qualify in the test must appear for Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and at last Document Verification & Medical Examination.
