Who designed the India Gate?

Who Designed the Gateway of India?
The British architect George Wittet designed the Gateway of India, which he had worked on several important structures in Bombay (now Mumbai).
On 31st March, 1911, the laying of the foundation stone of the Gateway of India took place by Brit. The final design in 1914 and the monument completed in 1924 by George Wittet.
It is a memorial to King George V and Queen Mary's visit to India in 1911. It is close to the Mumbai waterside at Apollo Bunder overlooking the Arabian Sea.
