The Indian Institute of Technology Madras has introduced a fresh set of online executive education programmes for the October-November 2026 session. Offered through the institute’s Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE), the programmes are aimed at professionals and learners looking to build specialised skills in areas linked to changing industry requirements.
The latest courses span multiple sectors, including electric mobility, manufacturing, environmental, social and governance (ESG), supply chain operations and construction. IIT Madras has structured these programmes to provide learners with focused training while allowing them to pursue the courses through an online format.
IIT Madras executive courses and start dates
The upcoming programme list includes the Certificate Program on Electric Vehicles (CPEV), which begins on October 9, 2026, and runs until February 14, 2027. Another offering is Additive Manufacturing Technologies for Practising Engineers, with its fourth cohort scheduled from October 2, 2026, to March 5, 2027.
The Supply Chain Management Professional Certification (SCMPro) is another programme in the current cycle. It started on October 1, 2026. IIT Madras CODE also lists Electric Vehicles Testing and Validation, beginning November 6, and the Masterclass on ESG: From Compliance to Opportunity, scheduled to begin November 13.
The institute has also listed Supply Chain Management Data + AI for November 2026. Construction Technology and Management is scheduled for January 2027 as part of the upcoming programme calendar.
Course fees and eligibility
The fees differ according to the programme. For example, the Electric Vehicles course has separate fee options depending on whether participants choose to include the laboratory component. The fee is Rs 59,000 plus 18% GST without the lab component and Rs 73,160 including the lab component. The course requires a bachelor’s degree in an allied engineering or science discipline.
The SCMPro programme, meanwhile, carries a fee of Rs 25,000 plus 18% GST. It is jointly certified by CII and CODE-IIT Madras, with a digital certificate awarded after successful completion of the examination.

Interested candidates can register through the official IIT Madras CODE portal code.iitm.ac.in. Applicants need to select their preferred programme, check the eligibility and fee details, and complete the online registration process within the prescribed deadline.
