Karnataka PGCET 2026: Karnataka Examinations Authority has extended the window for students to enter all four choices for admission to MBA, MCA, ME, and MTech/MArch courses. The window for candidates to enter the choices will be available until October 13, 2026, at 10 AM. Candidates allotted seats in the first round of admission can enter all four choices through the link on the official website.
According to the notification, candidates who have already taken admission in colleges can also enter their choices. Candidates will also be allowed to rearrange their options from 2 PM on October 13, 2026 to 10 AM on October 15, 2026.
Karnataka Examinations Authority had earlier extended the window for students to complete the fee payment and download the confirmation slip for admissions. The last date for candidates to submit the fee and report to the allotted colleges for admissions is October 12, 2026. Candidates reporting for admissions must also carry originals and photocopies of all relevant documents with them.
Karnataka PGCET 2026 Round 1: Choice Entry after Allotment
When selecting the choices on the admission portal, candidates must choose any one of the following

Choice 1: Accept the allotted seat, pay the required fee, and report to the college
Choice 2: Accept the allotted seat but wish to participate in a subsequent round for an upgrade
Choice 3: Reject the allotted seat and participate in the next round for different options.
Choice 4: Reject the allotted seat and completely withdraw from further PGCET counselling.

The link for students to enter the choices will be available until October 13, 2026. Follow the steps provided below
Step 1: Visit the official website of KEA
Step 2: Click on PGCET Admission
Step 3: Click on the Round 1 Choice entry link
Step 4: Log in with the CET number
Step 5: Click on the choice entry link
Step 6: Enter the choice as required
Step 7: Save and click on submit
As per the notification issued, a petition has also been filed in the Supreme Court requesting directions to AICTE to allow two more rounds of counselling and to issue separate schedules for admissions to UG and PG courses; candidates have been permitted to enter all four choices pending further decisions.
