The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released an important notice for candidates applying under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category for Round 1 of NEET PG Counselling 2026. As per the official notice dated September 28, the PwD portal will become active from October 1, 2026.
Candidates seeking admission under the PwD category will have to complete their medical assessment within the prescribed schedule. The assessment will be conducted through the Primary Medical Assessment Board, while candidates seeking reassessment can approach the Appellate Medical Assessment Board.

NEET PG 2026 PwD Assessment: Check Important Dates
According to MCC, the Primary Medical Assessment Board will remain open from October 1 until 5 PM on October 9, 2026. PwD candidates are required to visit the Primary Medical Assessment Centre within this period for their medical assessment.
The Appellate Medical Assessment Board will conduct medical assessments for candidates seeking an appeal or reassessment. The appellate assessment will be available from 10 AM on October 5 until 5 PM on October 12, 2026.
