NEET SS 2025 Counselling: MCC Issues Notification Regarding Special Stray Vacancy Round
The Medical Counselling Committee has issued a notification regarding the NEET SS Counselling 2025 special stray vacancy round. Candidates participating in the special stray vacancy round are advised to read through the instructions.
The Medical Counselling Committee has commenced the special stray vacancy round for NEET SS 2025 counselling. The registration process has concluded, while the choice entry is underway.
Candidates participating in the NEET SS 2025 special stray vacancy round can enter their choices for allotment until today, September 29, 2026. When entering the choices, students are advised to check the NEET SS 2025 clear vacancy list and enter the choices in their order of preference for allotment.
The window for students to lock their choices for the special stray vacancy round will be available until 12 Noon today, September 29, 2026. Students are advised to enter the choices and make sure to lock them before the deadline.
MCC Issues Notification Regarding Special Stray Vacancy Round
MCC has also issued instructions for students participating in the special stray vacancy round for NEET SS 2025 counselling. The special stray vacancy round is being conducted as per the order issued on September 17, 2026, after the reduction of percentile from the existing 50th percentile to 30th percentile. Participating candidates are advised to keep the following points in mind

The Special Stray Vacancy Round of SS Counselling 2025 is being conducted for D.M/ M.Ch/ DNB SS seats (left vacant after Round-2 of counselling) and after reduction of percentile

The Special Stray Vacancy Round is a Non- Upgradation Round. Candidates who were not allotted any seats in Round-1 or Round-2 and candidates who have become eligible after reduction of percentile will be able to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round

Also, the candidates who were allotted seats in Round-1 or Round-2 but did not JOIN the allotted seat can also participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round. However, they will have to do Fresh Registration with payment of fees since they exited with forfeiture

The in-service vacant seats of Tamil Nadu (if any, left vacant after Stray Round of Tamil Nadu state), are expected to be reverted by the state counselling authority of Tamil Nadu on 28.09.2026. Once received, the in- service seats will be added to the seat matrix of All India SS Counselling 2025
NEET SS 2025 Special Stray Vacancy Allotment Tomorrow
The allotment result for the special stray vacancy round will be issued tomorrow, September 30, 2026. Candidates allotted seats in the stray vacancy round are required to report to the allotted colleges with the necessary documents from October 1 to 6, 2026. Candidates must make sure they carry originals and photocopies of all required documents with them when reporting to the allotted colleges for admissions.
