Courses Covered Under The UP Post-Matric Scholarship
The Dashmottar category covers students studying in undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, ITI and other eligible courses. Students belonging to General, OBC, SC, ST and minority communities can apply, provided they meet the conditions applicable to their category.
Students should check their course, institution and other eligibility requirements before submitting the application.
Application Process Moves Through Multiple Verification Stages
To apply, students need to visit scholarship.up.gov.in, complete the required One-Time Registration (OTR) process, where applicable, and select the relevant scholarship category. They then have to choose fresh or renewal, enter their details, provide the required information and submit the form.
After submission, applications are checked by the concerned institution and go through the required verification and scrutiny stages. The scholarship is released to eligible and approved students through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Keep These Details Ready Before Filling The Scholarship Form
Students should keep their Aadhaar card, Aadhaar-linked mobile number, previous qualifying examination marksheet, income certificate, caste certificate where applicable, domicile or residence certificate, admission details, fee receipt, bank account or passbook details, photograph, course details and institution details ready. Renewal applicants should also keep their previous scholarship registration number.
Students should ensure that their personal details match across their Aadhaar, academic records, bank account and scholarship application to avoid problems during verification.
