AIMA to organize International Conference on Global Disruption & Transformation in Higher Education on 11th, 12th March

AIMA International Conference 2022: All India Management Association (AIMA) Vice Chancellors Council is going to organise International Conference on ‘Global Disruption & Transformation in Higher Education. The conference will be held in virtual mode on 11th and 12th March 2022. The New Education Policy announced by India in 2020 has also created new paradigms in education. Demography too challenges educators at a global level. 

All these disruptions now require reimagination and restrategization by higher education institutions. To discuss challenges in higher education at the global level and rethink what needs to be done for today and tomorrow by higher education institutions, AIMA’s Vice-Chancellors Council (VCC) is organising this international conference.

Key Sessions, Timings and Speakers 

The welcome address has been given by Rekha Sethi, Director General, All India Management Association. The special address has been by C K Ranganathan, President AIMA, Chairman & Managing Director, CavinKare Pvt Ltd. Further, the Rajan Saxena, Former Vice-Chancellor, NMIMS, Chairman, AIMA Vice-Chancellors Council talked about the theme. The keynote address was given by Fernando Leon Garcia, President, International Association of University Presidents & President, CETYS University, Mexico. 

D Shivakumar, Group Exec. President- Corporate Strategy & Business Development, Aditya Birla Group will start session I and talk about The World in Disarray: Higher Education 2030. The panel will be chaired by   Vidya Yeravdekar, Principal Director, Symbiosis Society. Other panel members are - Vipin Gupta, Professor & Co-Director, Center for Global Management, Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration, California State University San Bernardino. Nallan C. Suresh, UB Distinguished Professor, The School of Management, University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. Kamlesh Misra, Vice-Chancellor, Rishihood University. 

Session II on Technology in Higher Education -The elephant in the room will start by T V Mohandas Pai, Chairman, 3one4 Capital, Coâ??Founder & Chairman, Aarin Capital and Chairman, Manipal Global Education Services Pvt Ltd. The panel will be chaired by Sabyasachi Das, Chief Executive Officer, L&T EduTech. The panel members include - Venguswamy Ramaswamy, Global Head – TCS iON & Director - Tata Business Hub. Raghav Gupta, Managing Director, India & APAC, Coursera. Mohan Lakhamraju, Founder and CEO, Great Learning, Vice Chairman, Great Lakes Institute of Management. Mayank Kumar, Co-Founder and Managing Director, upGrad. 

On the first day, there will three sessions including a special session.  Upinder Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya will chair the special session on Developing Graduates for a Resilient World. BK Sister Shivani, Spiritual & Motivational Leader will be the speaker. On the 2nd day i.e 12th March 2022, there will six sessions including a Valedictory Session.
